Four-star cornerback Hunter Washington is one of the top defensive backs in the country and he’s getting interest from nearly all of the top programs. As more and more players start narrowing down their college choices, Washington is cutting his list down to size, too.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Washington released the top 10 schools left on his recruiting trail. Washington’s list consists of reps from each of the Power Five conferences. Arizona State, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Texas, TCU, Ohio State, Florida State, and Virginia Tech all made the cut.
247Sports rates Washington as the No. 197 overall prospect in the Class of 2021. He is the No. 15 cornerback in the nation, and the No. 33 prospect from the state of Texas.
Washington has earned second-team all-district honors in each of his last two seasons at Katy High School.

There aren’t any known favorites for Washington’s commitment at this time. But he has made a number of visits since he began his recruiting in 2018.
He’s made multiple visits to TCU and LSU, and has spent the last few months checking out Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Which school will Hunter Washington commit to in the end? Will he stay in his home state of Texas, or take his talents out of state?
