Illinois RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn Announces He's Transferring

The Fighting Illini are losing one of their top playmakers.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn, a rising junior running back, has decided to leave Illinois.

The 5-foot-10, 210-pound Tennessee product announced on Twitter that he's transferring.

Vaughn had a very productive 2016 season, averaging five yards a carry while catching nine passes for 89 yards. It was expected that he'd have a bigger role this fall.

The Nashville, Tenn. native was a four-star recruit in the 2015 class.
