In Photos: Everything You Need To Know About ESPN's Antonietta Collins

ESPN revamped its flagship program SportsCenter towards the beginning of 2016, adding some new faces along the way. 

One of those new faces - Antonietta "Toni" Collins - has done a terrific job since stepping in as one of the newest anchors on SportsCenter, also providing ESPN Now news updates within the weekday 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. editions of the ESPN news and information program. 

Collins, a graduate of Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio, is a rising star at the Worldwide Leader of Sports, looking to follow in the footsteps of her mother María Antonieta Collins, a television reporter for more than 40 years in Mexico and the U.S.

Where is Toni Collins From?

Born in Mexico, the 30-year-old dual citizen moved to the United States at a young age and grew up in Miami, Florida. 

She would go on to graduate from Mount Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, putting an emphasis on Sports Management.

How Did She Get Started ??? >>>How Did Toni Collins Get Started?Collins, after graduation, got her start working as a production assistant at Univision in Miami, and also worked as a production assistant with the CBS Sports Radio affiliate in St. Petersburg, Florida. She then worked as a sports reporter covering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the University of South Florida.She would accept her first on-camera position in 2009 working as a news reporter for Univision’s Noticias 48/FOX2 news team in McAllen, Texas where she covered stories on immigration and drug trafficking, making the most of her opportunities.The rest is history.

How Did She Get Started With ESPN?

Collins joined ESPN in September, 2013, as part of the Digital Media team to anchor news and analysis video segments in every sport category for ESPN.com. Her role quickly expanded to include reporting and interviews for features, and she even guest-host for ESPN's Baseball Tonight. also hosted One Nación on ESPN Deportes.

She moved to her current position in February of 2016.
