One of the best quarterbacks in the country just suffered a devastating injury. UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton suffered what looked to be a serious injury in the team's game against South Florida on Friday afternoon.

Milton has been one of the best quarterbacks over the past two years, leading UCF to an incredible winning streak. Although he doesn't get the hype of Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa or Oklahoma's Kyler Murray, Milton delivers the goods every game.

Unfortunately, it looks like his stellar season might be over.

The star quarterback was carted off the field after a brutal leg injury. Video of the play is hard to watch.

UCF sits at 10-0 on the season and had hopes of making a run at the College Football playoff. The Knights hold a 10-0 advantage over the Bulls early in the second quarter.

The initial reaction to the injury suggests it will be season-ending at least. It's tough news for Milton and his UCF teammates.

Stay tuned for the latest.
