Jim Harbaugh came into today's game against Ohio State boasting an 0-4 record against the Buckeyes. That record will move to 0-5 following this afternoon's blowout loss.

“I can't imagine going 0-5 in that rivalry,” Meyer said of Harbaugh's record in an interview with the New York Times.

Meyer went 7-0 against Michigan. Ryan Day is now 1-0.

Harbaugh is a good football coach. But he can't beat Ohio State. And if he can't beat Ohio State, he's not going to be able to take the Wolverines to the level they need to get to.

It's time for Harbaugh to leave.

Michigan isn't going to fire him - they shouldn't, he deserves more respect than that - but the two sides should part ways.

Harbaugh was an exceptional NFL head coach. Perhaps he's better suited for the professional level. There will be NFL franchises interested in hiring Harbaugh this offseason - Washington, New York, maybe others.

The former NFL quarterback should take one of those offers.

It's simply time to move on. Today was the nail in that coffin.
