The mother of the top recruit doesn't appear to be happy with her son's decision.

Family members of top recruits being visibly upset with the prospect's decision is a National Signing Day tradition. It's happened again this afternoon.

Jacob Copeland, a four-star wide receiver out of Penascola, Fla., just announced his decision on ESPN2. The top wideout was believed to be down to Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.

The 6-foot wide receiver committed to Florida. This didn't seem to be what his mom wanted.

Copeland's mother was on the stage with her son, wearing an Alabama sweater. She was also wearing a Tennessee beanie.

So, it seemed like she was cool with either the Crimson Tide or the Volunteers. Her son with went the other option.

Copeland's mother walked off the stage almost immediately after his decision was announced. She got her stuff and walked right in front of the camera.

This is a pretty embarrassing look if this isn't some fake act to go viral. This is arguably the biggest day of Jacob Copeland's life and his mother's act is overshadowing it. Florida, meanwhile, is getting a good one in Copeland. He's the No. 12 WR in the 2018 class and the No. 69 player overall. Update: Everything appears to be OK now.
