Jaelen Gill, 2018 4-Star RB, Commits To Ohio State

Jaelen Gill announced his commitment to Ohio State.

Four-star running back Jaelen Gill announced where he will play his college football in 2018. The Ohio native is a 2018 running back recruit, who still has a full year of high school to get through before he transitions to the NCAA.

Gill has committed to Ohio State.

Gill is one of the most talented running backs in country.

According to 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Gill is the No. 6 running back in the 2018 recruiting class. Gill is also the No. 2 recruit in the entire state of Ohio.

It's a huge commitment for Ohio State, who also has the No. 7 running back commit, Brian Snead. Gill, at 6-foot-1, 182 pounds, and Snead, at 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, should complement each other well. Think of Gill as a Curtis Samuel-type player. Gill can come out of the slot, and has the hands necessary to be a complete back.

Snead, on the other hand, is a power back who most closely resembles rookie sensation Mike Weber.

Both players should be able to make immediate impacts for the Buckeyes. Ohio State brought in the No. 2 recruiting class in 2017 and is on the right track to bring in a top five class next year as well.

A huge commitment for the Buckeyes.
