Report: Jalen Hurd Did Not Make Trip To Texas A&M

Tennessee will reportedly be without running back Jalen Hurd this weekend against the Aggies.

According to Patrick Brown of The Times Free Press, Vols running back Jalen Hurd did not make the trip to College Station this weekend as Tennessee gets set to take on Texas A&M:

247 Sports reported earlier this week that Hurd did not participate during practice all week nor did he go through the team walkthrough on Thursday. It is an undisclosed injury as Brown mentions.

Hurd is the leading rusher for the Vols with 407 yards rushing and has scored two touchdowns. He also has seven catches for 82 yards and two scores.

Running back Alvin Kamara should be given a much bigger workload this Saturday against the Aggies. Kamara has 165 yards on the ground on 38 attempts.

The No. 9 Vols play visitor to the No. 9 Aggies in a clash of undefeated teams. The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST and can be seen on CBS.

College GameDay will be at A&M that morning to get things going along with The Chainsmokers.
