Jalen Hurts didn’t play his best game as an Oklahoma Sooner on Saturday, but he did enough in his team’s 31-24 rivalry victory over Texas. As such, he took his turn wearing the famed Golden Hat after the win.
Hurts finished the game 16-of-28 for 235 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown.
Hurts was aided by a huge performance from wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb finished the game with 10 catches for 171 yards and three touchdowns.
FOX released video of Hurts trying on the Golden Hat after the game. He looks pretty pumped to have the honor.

Hurts, of course, transferred to Oklahoma after three seasons at Alabama. He lost his starting job in the national championship game two years ago against Georgia.
With the Sooners, he’s been nothing short of incredible. On the season, he’s thrown for 1,523 yards and 14 touchdowns with just two interceptions.
Oklahoma’s College Football Playoff resume is in great shape after the win. That said, they’ll likely need to keep pace and win the Big 12 to make it a reality.
