Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts has the Clemson football team raising the national championship trophy as his phone background.
Losing a national championship in the way that Alabama did has to be gut-wrenching, but at least for Bama quarterback Jalen Hurts, the last-second loss is only serving as motivation to work harder for the upcoming season. He’s apparently using a photo of Clemson’s post-win celebration as the lock screen on his phone.

I don’t know exactly which photo he’s using, but I imagine it’s probably similar to one of the four below in this Clemson football tweet:

None of those can be pleasant for Hurts to look at day after day, and that’s exactly the point. It’s definitely the right state of mind for the freshman to have.
Hurts wasn’t spectacular in his first national championship appearance, going 13-of-31 through the air for a touchdown, while recording 63 yards and a TD on the ground.
The Crimson Tide will have no shortage of talent this year, and will once again be the favorites to hoist the national championship trophy in January. We’ll get our first look at how Alabama is shaping up at its spring game this Saturday.
