The Penn State head coach had one regret.
Over the weekend, Ohio State mounted a huge comeback to defeat then No. 2 Penn State to take a stranglehold on the Big Ten East.
The loss effectively ends Penn State's playoff hopes. Head coach James Franklin spoke to the media Tuesday afternoon and revealed his one regret.
Not being more aggressive.
With just under six minutes to play, Penn State ran the ball on a third and goal despite a stacked defensive front from Ohio State. The Nittany Lions kicked a field goal to give the team a 38-27 lead with 5:42 left on the clock.
Ohio State scored two touchdowns with the remaining time, and stuffed Penn State's attempt at a late fourth-quarter comeback en route to a 39-38 win.
