The Tigers' quarterback will be returning to school.

Jarrett Stidham has made his NFL Draft decision.

The NFL can wait.

Auburn's starting quarterback, a third-year sophomore, announced on Twitter this evening that he's decided to return to the Tigers for the 2018 season.

"Made the decision to stay at Auburn. We have unfinished business and I’m excited for what the 2018 season holds! War Eagle, Auburn Family!" he wrote.

Stidham, a former top recruit who transferred to Auburn from Baylor after the Bears' scandal, helped lead the Tigers to 10 wins in 2017. The 6-foot-3, 214-pound quarterback threw for 3,158 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Auburn, which beat both Alabama and Georgia this past season, should contend atop the SEC in 2018.
