Penn State LB Jason Cabinda Announces He Will Return For Senior Season

Jason Cabinda will not enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

Jason Cabinda will return to Penn State for this senior season. The junior linebacker took to Twitter with a touching message for all Nittany Lion fans.

Cabinda led the Nittany Lions in tackles during his sophomore season, and started this year with a solid 11-tackle performance against Kent State. Then came the bad news. Cabinda injured his wrist in the Nittany Lion's game against Pitt, and missed five total games.

The junior linebacker came back just in time, as Penn State hosted Ohio State in the Nittany Lions Whiteout Game. Penn State entered the game as a three-touchdown underdog, but led by Cabinda's 13 tackles, defeated the Buckeyes and sparked a miraculous season.

Cabinda finished the season with 69 tackles, including four tackles for loss and one sack. It's great news for the Nittany Lions to have their defensive leader out there for another season.
