Jaylin Simpson, one of the top athletes in the 2019 recruiting class, has made his college decision. He's headed to the SEC.

The four-star recruit, who's projected to be a cornerback at the college level, has committed to Auburn. He chose the Tigers over Alabama, Clemson and Florida State, among other programs.

Simpson announced his commitment on Twitter. He says he silently committed to the program over the weekend.

“I committed — 1,000 percent committed to Auburn,” Simpson said per 247Sports. "My family had a great visit. They felt it was a great place for me. We're all pretty confident. I think it's best for us."

Simpson's full Twitter announcement can be seen below.

"Respect it."

Simpson is Auburn's fifth commitment in the 2019 class. Three of those five commits are rated as four-star prospects.

The talented athlete is ranked the No. 28 ATH in the '19 class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He's rated as the No. 319 overall recruit.
