Legendary broadcaster Jim Ross has witnessed many brutal injuries, and unfortunately for him, he was on the receiving end of this latest situation.

Ross is known for his time in the WWE, as he made several signature calls almost every pay-per-view. Although his latest injury might not be new to him, especially considering the countless bumps taken in the wrestling industry, it's still frightening to see.

Early this morning, Ross posted his injury on Twitter, as his left eye was swollen shut. There is also blood on the side of his face, indicating that it was probably a serious accident. However, the exact story of what happened isn't known just yet.

Even though Ross appears in no shape to leave his house tonight, he's still going to attend the Oklahoma game. After all, he spent the majority of his childhood rooting for the Sooners.

The Sooners play host to the Kansas Jayhawks in the final home game of the season.

With kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET, Ross will have several hours to recover from his injury.
