ESPN Reporting That Jimbo Fisher Wanted $6.5 Million Per Year Over 10 Years From LSU

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher reportedly turned down an offer to become LSU's next head coach this week. According to ESPN, the school didn't meet his salary requirements.

Jimbo Fisher is staying at Florida State, which is great news for Seminoles fans. Thursday night, it was revealed by ESPN's Brett McMurphy that Fisher was "seeking" a $6.5 million salary per year over a 10-year period. If true, it's a huge number - more because of the longevity of the contract than the per-year salary.

With Fisher out of the picture, Tom Herman is reportedly LSU's top choice. It's going to be an interesting few days in college football.
