Watch: Joel Klatt Argues Baker Mayfield, J.T. Barrett Should Be The Heisman Favorites

Klatt favors Mayfield and Barrett over Saquon Barkley when it comes to who should win the Heisman.

The overwhelming consensus among college football fans seems to be that Penn State all-purpose back Saquon Barkley is the Heisman favorite, but analyst Joel Klatt doesn't agree.

While he thinks Barkley is an incredibly talented player—and he even admits that Barkley is probably the "best" player in college football—he argues that Baker Mayfield and J.T. Barrett are more deserving of the award because of what they bring to the team in terms of value, consistency and performance on big stages.

Honestly, his argument is pretty compelling and you can watch it below:

For what it's worth, he believes Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield should be favorite because he's "brilliant," he's done it on the biggest stage—he called Oklahoma's win over Ohio State the "best win in college football thus far"—and his gaudy passing stats this season back it up.
