Week 4 of the college football season is in the books and while there weren't any huge upsets, there were some very telling results. Georgia beat Notre Dame as everyone expected, though not by as wide a margin. Meanwhile, Wisconsin distinguished itself by absolutely throttling Michigan.
Heading into Week 5, FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt has released a new top 10. With Ohio State, Clemson and Alabama having yet to face a real challenge, he decided to declare a 3-way tie between them for first place.
Here's is Joel Klatt's top 10 teams for Week 5:
1a. Ohio State
9. Notre Dame
The SEC was strongly represented with Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Auburn all getting a spot. LSU continues to look like the team most-capable of knocking off Alabama in the SEC. But Georgia and Auburn still picked up huge wins over ranked opponents.
Two conferences, the Big Ten (Ohio State, Wisconsin) and Big 12 (Oklahoma, Texas) both had two teams on his list.
Oklahoma has been stout all year but had the weekend off, while Texas won a dogfight with Oklahoma State.
Ohio State crushed Miami (OH), winning by 71 points. But Wisconsin had arguably the more impressive win, beating Michigan by three touchdowns.
What do you think of Klatt's list? Did he get it right?
