The 2019 college football season is now one month old, as we're four weeks into the regular season. The College Football Playoff picture is starting to take shape.

FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt said on Sunday that he believes there are 10 legitimate College Football Playoff contenders right now.

Klatt outlined the numbers for each conference:

SEC: 4 (Florida is not legit folks) B1G: 3 Big 12: 2 ACC: 1 (awful outside of Clemson) Pac 12: 0

Klatt didn't name every team, but it's fair to assume it's:

  • Alabama, Auburn, Georgia LSU in the SEC
  • Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State
  • Oklahoma and Texas in the Big 12
  • Clemson in the ACC

There aren't any huge College Football Playoff-implicated games this weekend, though Ohio State does face a potentially dangerous Nebraska team in Lincoln on Saturday night.

The following weekend gives us Florida-Auburn, Michigan-Iowa and Ohio State-Michigan State.
