NCAA Rules On Eligibility Of South Carolina 5-Star Transfer
The NCAA has ruled on the eligibility of a five-star freshman days before the 2018 regular season is set to begin.
Josh Belk, a five-star defensive lineman who transferred to South Carolina from Clemson, has been ruled eligible to play in 2018.
The five-star recruit enrolled at Clemson in early 2018 and then transferred to South Carolina this summer.

Belk was ranked a five-star recruit and the No. 25 overall prospect in the 2018 class by 247Sports.
It's unclear how much he'll play for the Gamecocks this season, but this is still a boost for their defense.
South Carolina is set to open its season on Saturday against Coastal Carolina.
