The Justin Fields era is underway in Columbus, Ohio and we're off to a quick start. The former Georgia five-star quarterback has already found the end zone.

Fields, touted for his dual-threat ability, showed off his speed early in today's Week 1 game against Florida Atlantic.

The Ohio State sophomore quarterback scored a 51-yard rushing touchdown to put the Buckeyes on the board first.

It doesn't get much better than this:

Fields was named Ohio State's starting quarterback earlier this month, beating out Gunnar Hoak and Chris Chugunov.

The former five-star quarterback transferred to Ohio State following one season at Georgia, where he played behind Jake Fromm.

Ohio State is leading FAU, 7-0, early in Columbus.

The game is on FOX.
