A scary situation just unfolded in Lexington.
Kentucky and Missouri are locked in a tense battle in the fourth quarter, but an event on the UK sideline brought the action to a halt.
Minutes ago, Kentucky backup quarterback Luke Wright suffered what the SEC Network broadcast officially called a medical emergency. The game stopped as Wright was attended to, and he eventually left the field on a stretcher.
You can see Wright on the ground in the photo below.
The most recent update from the TV broadcast said Wright is alert and talking with medical personnel in an ambulance, and has yet to be transported to the hospital. H
