Kirby Smart Claims Will Muschamp Called Out Georgia Fans Over G-Day Attendance

South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp apparently called out Bulldogs fans, according to Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.

Will Muschamp has issued a challenge to all Georgia fans, according to head coach Kirby Smart.

Per The Telegraph, Smart revealed earlier today that in a phone call with Muschamp, the South Carolina head coach told him that there's no way he'll be able to fill Sanford Stadium to capacity for the Bulldogs' annual spring game known as "G-Day."

Last year, Georgia fans were able to accomplish the feat by filling out the 93,000 seat stadium, but Muschamp allegedly doesn't think that'll happen this year. Smart, understandably, took to the airwaves to make the challenge public and encourage everyone to come.

"Muschamp called me and said we would not even get (40,000)," Smart said Wednesday on 680 The Fan. "If everybody knows Muschamp at South Carolina, he's calling me out. I figure we will get that. He is calling the Dog fans out...G-Day, we need everybody out there. You got me? Make traffic bad."

For what it's worth, South Carolina's spring game on April 1 took place in front of a crowd of 12,345.

Georgia's spring game is set for Saturday, April 22, and something tells me there will be quite a few people in attendance.
