The Big Ten has run out to a 7-0 start in bowl season after last night's Penn State and Wisconsin wins, and Kirk Herbstreit is here for it.
Kirk Herbstreit excitedly tweeted about the conference's performance following Penn State's 35-28 Fiesta Bowl win over Washington, and Wisconsin's 34-24 Orange Bowl win over Miami.
Naturally, because it happens whenever Herbstreit tweets anything about college football, fans got on the former Ohio State quarterback about perceived Big Ten bias.
Herbstreit wasn't having it last night, and fired back.
In the run-up to the selection of the four College Football Playoff teams, Herbstreit made it clear that he thought Alabama should be the fourth choice over his alma mater. And last night, while gloating over the Big Ten's impressive performance, he still wasn't ready to change his mind on Ohio State's fate.
Michigan is the only Big Ten team left to play. The Wolverines take on South Carolina in the Outback Bowl to kick off a long day of college football on Monday. With a win, the Big Ten will go a perfect 8-0 on the season.
