Although Week 11 features an incredible SEC matchup between LSU and Alabama, it's possible that College GameDay could go to Minnesota.

Following the Golden Gophers' win over the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday, Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck made his pitch to ESPN. He brought up how the program has never hosted GameDay before.

Not only will Minnesota be 8-0 heading into Week 11, but its opponent on that weekend will also be undefeated. Penn State took care of business on the road against Michigan State to preserve their perfect record.

Fleck's pitch to have College GameDay travel to Minnesota in two weeks from now is gaining attention around the country.

Kirk Herbstreit doesn't make the decision as to where ESPN's crew will travel, but he sounds intrigued by the idea of going to Minnesota for Week 11.

"Sold me. I love it," Herbstreit wrote on Twitter. "If only I were making the decision. Love their story. Undefeated Gophers vs Undefeated Lions! Gonna be HYPED!"

ESPN has a tough decision to make because there will be two matchups between unbeaten teams on the same weekend.

Alabama and LSU have hosted College GameDay several times over the years, so maybe the crew will finally make the trip to the Twin Cities.
