ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit updated his personal rankings live on the air during tonight's Ohio State-Nebraska game.

The noted ESPN analyst ranked his four most-impressive teams in the country through the first five weeks of the 2019 season.

Herbstreit believes Ohio State has been the most-impressive squad in the country so far.

The ESPN analyst named a top four of:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Alabama
  3. Clemson
  4. LSU

Clemson struggled today at North Carolina, though the Tigers still have an impressive home win against Texas A&M.

Alabama, meanwhile, has arguably the best offense in the country, though the Crimson Tide gave up some points to Ole Miss today.

LSU has seen its offense reach new heights in Joe Burrow's second season in Baton Rouge.

Ohio State probably has been the best of the bunch.

Oklahoma, led by Jalen Hurts, is right there too.
