The college football season is six weeks old and everyone is chasing the Alabama Crimson Tide. Nick Saban has the most-explosive offense of his time with the Tide as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is the Heisman Trophy front-runner despite not playing in a fourth quarter.
Alabama leads the nation in points scored per game with over 56. The Crimson Tide are also in the top-12 nationally in points scored against, allowing just over 16 points per game.
With Alabama’s dominance this season, some are wondering if the national title race is already over. Can anyone keep the Tide from bringing home back-to-back titles?
Kirk Herbstreit attempted to answer that question. Herbie named the biggest threat to Alabama before the national title.
He thinks LSU will give Alabama a test during the regular season and Georgia will provide the “biggest test” in a potential SEC title game.
Before Atlanta? At LSU. But biggest test obviously will be Dawgs in Atlanta. Rematch of last years Natl Title. Same setting. Chance to be epic. https://t.co/iQAtBUDhCd

It will be interesting to see how Alabama performs against an elite defense – which both LSU and Georgia have.
Alabama faces Missouri this weekend.
