Kirk Herbstreit addressed OSU's offensive woes.
Ohio State out-gained Penn State 413-276 in terms of yardage on Saturday night, but the Buckeyes were only able to muster 21 points in suffering their first loss of the season. ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit was asked about the team's struggles on offense, and had an interesting take.
In short, he isn't impressed with either Ohio State's ability to stretch the field or how its offensive line is playing. He doesn't blame the play-calling of the coaches.
This lines up, at least partially, with what head coach Urban Meyer had to say following the loss.
Ohio State started the season on fire but hasn't looked quite itself the past two weeks. We'll see if the Buckeyes can right the ship against Northwestern this Saturday.
