ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit was really impressed with one Big 12 team's showing early in Week 1 of the 2019 regular season.

Oklahoma State topped Oregon State, 52-36, to open the 2019 college football regular season on Friday evening.

Herbstreit was a big fan of what he witnessed from the Cowboys.

"I know I know it’s Oregon St but I really thought preseason the Pokes were in their typically dangerous position of being overlooked in the Big 12," he wrote. "Just the way Mike Gundy and (Oklahoma State) likes it—after tonight people gonna start seeing this squads fire power! Hubbard/Wallace."

Oklahoma State moved to 1-0 on the season with the win on Friday night. The Cowboys were led by Spencer Sanders, who threw for 203 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Chuba Hubbard, who rushed for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Cowboys are set to play McNeese in Week 2 next Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. E.T. on Sept. 7.
