Kirk Herbstreit On Penalty That Negated Dalvin Cook's 50-Yard Run

Jimbo Fisher didn't like the penalty call. Kirk Herbstreit didn't, either.

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has weighed in on the controversial penalty call that negated a 50-yard run by Florida State tailback Dalvin Cook.

The penalty call, illegal block call against fullback Freddie Stevenson, called back a 50-yard run by Cook that went deep into Clemson territory. At the time, FSU was leading, 28-26, and would have likely scored at least a field goal if not for the penalty call.

Here's the play, from SB Nation:

Herbstreit says it was a "poor call."

Fisher went off in his post-game press conference regarding that penalty call and the officiating as a whole.

The ACC will surely be hearing from Fisher.
