Unless Washington goes undefeated, the Pac-12 will be left out of the CFB Playoff.
ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit said this week that he believes the Pac-12 will be an odd-man out come College Football Playoff time, unless No. 5 Washington (5-0) wins the remainder of its games and finishes undefeated.
The College Football Playoff picture at this point looks like this:
- SEC champion (Alabama, probably)
- Big Ten champion (Ohio State or Michigan, probably)
- ACC champion (Clemson, probably)
- One of: Washington, Houston, Louisville, loser of Ohio State-Michigan, SEC runner-up.

The Huskies will also have a Pac-12 Championship Game, which right now would be against Colorado.
