College football's Week 0 slate only featured two games, but one of them ended in a thrilling way, with Arizona falling to Hawaii on an epic last-second play.

Arizona nearly tied the game up with a last-second run by quarterback Khalil Tate, though he came up 1-yard short in Rams-Titans Super Bowl fashion.

Hawaii stopped Arizona's star quarterback at the 1-yard line to win the season opener.

ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit was particularly impressed with the effort of one Hawaii defender.

Manly Williams, Hawaii's senior defensive tackle, was the man who ultimately brought Tate to the ground at the 1-yard line. He did so after running 40-plus yards.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a more-impressive play from a defensive lineman in a pivotal situation.

Well done, Manly Williams.
