The college football season came to a close earlier this week with a dominant performance from Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers. Star quarterback Trevor Lawrence exploded with over 300 yards passing and three touchdowns as the Tigers raced to a 44-16 win over Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Before the title game, there were serious questions about the venue – Levi’s Stadium. Aside from a history of poor field conditions, fans weren’t happy with Levi’s as the location for college football’s championship game.
Kirk Herbstreit has a solution for fans who aren’t happy with the revolving national title game locations. Every college football title game should be played at the Rose Bowl, according to Herbie.

Herbstreit’s solution won’t kick in for a few years, even if the Rose Bowl was adopted as the permanent home for the title game.
The College Football Playoff title game locations are announced years in advance. The hosts for the 2020-2024 title games have already been decided, and unfortunately for Herbstreit, none are the Rose Bowl.
