Tommy Armstrong, thankfully, is OK.
Nebraska senior quarterback Tommy Armstrong had an incredibly scary moment in the first half of last night's game against Ohio State. Armstrong was hit as he was going out of bounds, and after hitting the ground, he was motionless. The Huskers' QB had to have his jersey cut off as he was taken off of the field on a cart and to a local hospital.
Armstrong ended up being OK, and he later returned to the game - in street clothes.
Following the contest, a 62-3 Ohio State blowout, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who was calling the game for ABC, tweeted out a message at the quarterback.
We'll second that.
