Kirk Herbstreit's Message To Michigan Ahead Of Kickoff vs. Ohio State

Kirk Herbstreit On College Football's Most "Intimidating" Stadium

Here's Herbstreit's message to Michigan ahead of this afternoon's game.

Michigan has a chance to play spoiler today.

Ohio State is still alive in the College Football Playoff and the 9-2 Buckeyes are set to kick off against the Wolverines in a little more than an hour.

Urban Meyer has yet to lose to Michigan - and Jim Harbaugh has yet to beat OSU.

Here's Kirk Herbstreit's message to the Wolverines ahead of the game:

“In Ohio State and Michigan’s case, a lot like when Auburn and Alabama play it each, (the rivalry) alone is incentive," Herbstreit said on ESPN earlier today. "For Jim Harbaugh, hasn’t had a great year and they’re fans are kinda cynics, this is big opportunity to go out and be able to win the game at home and ruin Ohio State’s hopes at a Big Ten Championship and ultimately get into the Playoff.

"I’ve seen this act before when Ohio State goes up there with everything to lose and Michigan, with nothing to lose, pulls off an upset. We’ll see what happens today.”

Ohio State is a big favorite, as the Buckeyes are listed at -13 at most sportsbooks.

Kickoff is set for noon on FOX.
