5-Star DE KJ Henry Announces Top 10 Schools

KJ Henry is one of the top players in the entire class of 2018. Today, the five-star defensive end announced his top 10 schools.

Alabama, Charlotte, Clemson, Georgia, Louisville, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, South Carolina, Virginia Tech all make the cut for the Clemmons, North Carolina native. He put out the list via Twitter, aided by a lyric from Chance the Rapper.

Henry's full note, posted along with the top 10 graphic:

"First off I would like to thank God for allowing me to excel in the game I love most and allowing me to pursue so many wonderful opportunities. These are now the top 10 schools I will be talking to about college in the near future. God Bless."

It is certainly an interesting group for the nation's No. 20 player and No. 2 defensive end. Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and Ohio State are all national recruiting powers at this point, and in contention for many five-stars, while Louisville, Penn State, Pitt, and Virginia Tech are a bit more interesting for Henry. We assume Charlotte is a local school courtesy inclusion, unless the 49ers make perhaps the biggest recruiting upset in college football history.

According to 247Sports, Henry made unofficial visits to both Alabama and Clemson in the last month.
