Baker Mayfield reportedly considered not hiring an agent for his NFL Draft process. The Oklahoma quarterback eventually ended up signing with one.

Another top 2018 NFL Draft quarterback prospect is reportedly doing the same. However, it doesn't look like he'll end up signing with one.

Lamar Jackson is not hiring an agent. He'll head to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this week with no official representation.

The Heisman Trophy winner's mother is reportedly helping him with his NFL Draft preparation. This is probably something NFL teams will at least ask the quarterback about.

"NFL teams do care about who a player signs with and how they handle the process," says one scout.

Jackson is considered by some to be a top-five quarterback prospect. Others (cough, Bill Polian, cough) controversially believe he should switch to wide receiver.

The former Louisville star was one of the most-exciting players in college football over the last two years. Hopefully he can do the same in the NFL.

The NFL Combine begins tomorrow. It'll take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The combine will run from Feb. 27 through March 5.
