Lamar Jackson Ran A Blazing Time In The 40-Yard Dash

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson showed off his speed with a tremendous 40 time.

The Louisville football team had a "speed day" at practice on Wednesday. Head coach Bobby Petrino tweeted out the fastest times from the team's attempts at the 40-yard dash.

To the surprise of no one, Lamar Jackson was near the top of the fastest times. But just how fast did he run?

According to Petrino's tweet, the quarterback raced to a 4.34.

Now, it's important to note this is not an official 40 time like we've seen from the NFL Combine. However, Jackson's still has tremendous speed and this is an impressive run.

Had he run a 4.34 at the NFL Combine, Jackson would have the fastest time among quarterbacks by 0.2 seconds. That time would also give Jackson the No. 4 time out of every player who ran at the Combine.
