The news of McDougle’s decision to transfer out of West Virginia was broken in late March. It’s a tough blow to a Mountaineers’ team that lacked depth on the defensive line.
McDougle was a freshman All-American during the 2017 season. He played in all 13 games for the Mountaineers.
He was a three-star recruit coming out of high school.
The 6-foot-1, 295-pound defensive lineman is a Florida native. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
