Some have linked Kiffin to the opening at Tennessee.

Tennessee is back to looking for a new head coach.

After the fallout with Greg Schiano, some believe it's going to be tough for the Vols to secure a top-tier candidate.

So, how about bringing Lane Kiffin back to Knoxville?

CBS Sports mentioned it as a possibility.

"As Tennessee again finds itself engulfed in flames, Lane Kiffin waits by his phone."

Kiffin, though, says he's "not waiting at all."

Kiffin was Tennessee's head coach for one season before leaving the program for the USC gig.

He's lead FAU to a 9-3 season this fall, including a perfect record in the conference. The Owls will play for their conference championship on Saturday.
