Even after he left Alabama and went to FAU, Lane Kiffin has been a vocal supporter of Jalen Hurts. He still has Hurts’ back now that the senior signal caller is at Oklahoma.
Hurts left ‘Bama this offseason to enroll at OU as a grad transfer. He’ll have a chance to end his college career on a high note while competing for a Big 12 title and College Football Playoff berth.
Kiffin responded to a tweet about Hurts this afternoon. In it, a writer detailed how Hurts seems to be fitting in just fine at his new stop.
“Glad to see u being u again @JalenHurts smiling and enjoying life!! Good luck this year @OU_Football 3 in a row??? @uscfootball did 3 in 4 years @HeismanTrophy,” Kiffin tweeted.

Kiffin is referring to USC’s stretch from 2002-05, when Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush all took home the Heisman Trophy.
Oklahoma is working on back-to-back Heisman winners with Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.
If Hurts can follow in their footsteps, he’ll not only have a huge final season, he’ll likely see his NFL draft stock raised.
