The hits keep coming in the NFL.

With the 2019 regular season just a few days away, NFL teams are working tirelessly to trim their rosters down to 53. Over 1,000 players will be out of the league by the end of the weekend and their dreams of playing in the NFL could be over.

It doesn't matter if you're undrafted or a first-round pick, the cuts don't discriminate.

Two former first-round wide receivers are expected to be among the cuts this weekend.

According to a report from NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Minnesota Vikings are set to release former Ole Miss star Laquon Treadwell.

He's not the only former first-round wide receiver among the cuts. Former TCU star Josh Doctson will be looking for a new home as well.

It's just the first of many cuts to come this weekend. Both could also be traded, if NFL teams want to jump at the opportunity rather than attempting to sign them off of waivers.
