A notable JUCO head football coach has stepped down from his position, as Jason Brown, the head coach of Independence Community College in Kansas has resigned.

Brown, who has been featured on Netflix's Last Chance U, has stepped down from his position about a week after he allegedly told a German player "I'm your new Hitler."

The head coach took to social media to announce his decision.

"To all my fans, supporters, both past and present players, and coaches, please read the following letter that I have posted and please respect my decision. Much love to you all, W.I.N. FOREVER! Once a Pirate always a Pirate!" he announced.

“Given what has most recently been allowed to transpire, it is clear, that it will be nearly impossible to stay here. More plainly, the Montgomery County Chronicle has greatly diminished my ability to successfully do my job, and has set this football program back significantly, and the cumulative effect of all these detrimental factors I believe clearly constitute a constructive discharge of my employment," Brown said in his statement.

The decision to step down comes after screenshoots of alleged text messages between Brown and a German player, Alexandros Alexiou, were posted on social media.

Brown told the player that he was his "new Hitler" and had his scholarship taken away. The school later gave the player his scholarship back.

“U obviously have issues and now wont be a part of this program,” Brown said in the alleged texts. “I’ll take u off the f---ing scholarship I gave u too since u have forgotten that.”

Brown and the Independence CC team are set to be featured on Season 4 of Netflix's Last Chance U.
