Colorado is the biggest story of the college football season, but the oddsmakers aren't fully sold yet.

Despite opening 3-0, the Buffaloes are 21-point underdogs for Saturday's marquee Pac-12 showdown against Oregon. When discussing the sizable spread on Thursday's Speak, LeSean McCoy said Colorado is "absolutely" getting disrespected.

He confirmed that star quarterback Shedeur Sanders is playing before explaining why he believes in the Buffaloes.

"They are battled tested," McCoy said. "Games they're supposed to win, they win. Games they're supposed to lose, they win. And for you to say '21-point underdogs' sounds crazy to me."

The former Pro Bowl running back doesn't want to bet against Colorado after watching Sanders lead a comeback win over Colorado State with 348 passing yards and four touchdowns. He's quickly infiltrated the Heisman Trophy conversation with the nation's second-most passing yards (1,251) behind Washington's Michael Penix Jr.

When Emmanuel Acho asked if he's betting on the spread or Colorado winning outright, McCoy answered "both." He also has faith in the quarterback's dad, head coach Deion Sanders.

"In Coach Prime we trust," he declared.

Colorado certainly has the offensive firepower to keep the game close, and perhaps even pull off another upset at Autzen Stadium. The bigger question is whether the defense can slow down Bo Nix and a Ducks offense that's posted 587 yards per game in three lopsided victories.

Although there's far less national attention on the Ducks, Dan Lanning's squad ranks second in scoring behind USC while allowing just 47 points all season.

The Sanders family can reward McCoy's confidence when playing Oregon this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
