Today feels like a day that could be filled with major college football upsets. There aren't a ton of exciting, top 25 matchups on today's schedule. Usually, the days you think won't end up being that crazy end up being just that.
College football analyst Lou Holtz is calling for a major upset.
Later today, No. 6 LSU is set to host Louisiana Tech. The Tigers are a big favorite. One college football analyst is picking the upset, though.
Holtz, whose son, Skip Holtz, coaches La. Tech, is predicting the upset. He has a good reason, of course.
"Picking @LATechFB to beat @LSUfootball Saturday in Baton Rouge. Not an upset. Upset is what my wife would be if I picked against her son. Last 2 years they lost to S. Carolina and Arkansas on the road by just 1 point on the last play of the game. They will not be intimidated," he wrote.
LSU and Louisiana Tech are set to kick off at 7 p.m. E.T. today.
The game will be on ESPNU.
