Lou Holtz Is Predicting A Major College Football Upset This Saturday

Few college football teams have had a more-impressive start to the 2018 season than Ed Orgeron's LSU Tigers.

LSU, which began the season at the bottom of the preseason top 25, opened the season with a blowout win of then-No. 8 Miami. Then, this past weekend, the Tigers upset then-No. 7 Auburn on the road.

Coach O's team has surged into the top 10, ranked No. 6 in the latest AP Poll.

This weekend, LSU is set to host Louisiana Tech. The Tigers are a big favorite. One college football analyst is picking the upset, though.

Lou Holtz, whose son, Skip Holtz, coaches La. Tech, is predicting the upset. He has a good reason, of course.

"Picking @LATechFB to beat @LSUfootball Saturday in Baton Rouge. Not an upset. Upset is what my wife would be if I picked against her son. Last 2 years they lost to S. Carolina and Arkansas on the road by just 1 point on the last play of the game. They will not be intimidated," he wrote.

LSU and Louisiana Tech are set to kick off at 7 p.m. E.T. on Saturday. The game will be on ESPNU.
