LSU has arguably been the most-impressive team in the country through the first three weeks of the season - based on the Tigers' resume, anyway.

Ed Orgeron's team opened the year with a blowout win of top-25 Miami and, last week, went into then-No. 7 Auburn and upset the Tigers.

LSU, which began the year ranked at the bottom of the preseason top 25, has surged up to No. 6 in the latest polls. The College Football Playoff talk had started in Baton Rouge, La.

Louisiana Tech says not so fast, though.

Joe Burrow and Co. are having all kinds of trouble against their in-state foes tonight. The Tigers are officially on "upset alert" in the fourth quarter, too.

Louisiana Tech has scored 21 unanswered points.

LSU has some huge games coming up, as the Tigers get right into the thick of SEC play next weekend, but this clearly wasn't a game they could sleepwalk through.

The game is on ESPNU.
