Last week, Clemson overtook Alabama for the nation's No. 1 2020 recruiting class. Their stay at the top didn't last long, thanks to LSU.

On Saturday, Washington (D.C.) five-star wide receiver Rakim Jarrett announced his commitment to LSU. The No. 2 wideout and the 16th-overall recruit in the class, Jarrett is LSU's second five-star commitment for 2020.

His pledge also vaulted the Tigers past Alabama and Clemson and into the top spot in 247Sports' Composite Team Rankings. LSU has 248.43 total points, followed by Clemson's 245.47 and the Crimson Tide's 245.46.

Miami and Florida round out the top five, but there's a distinct gap between them and the big three.

LSU has four commitments from four of the top 100 and nine in the top 200 prospects in the 2020 class.
