LSU's Joe Brady Wins College Football's 2019 Broyles Award
Of all the assistants in college football, LSU's Joe Brady has arguably made the biggest impact this season. The Tigers' passing game coordinator has played a huge role in resurrecting their offense, helping QB Joe Burrow become the Heisman favorite.
Due to Brady's impact, the LSU assistant has won the Broyles Award, given to college football's top assistant coach.

Brady had the opportunity to recently reflect on the Broyles Award recognition. He's clearly touched by the high honor, but remains focused on the Tigers' playoff game.
"It's kind of hard to put into words," Brady said, via 247Sports. "Haven't had an opportunity to really think about it. Feel like everything has just happened so fast. I'm sure it's one of those things where in the next week I'll have an opportunity to take it all in, but right now, my mind's already on who we're going to be playing in the playoffs."
That's exactly one of the reasons Brady has won the Broyles Award. Despite the award recognition, nothing's swaying his focus on LSU's upcoming playoff game.
The Tigers are slated to face No. 4 Oklahoma in the semi-final. If LSU wins, it'll either face the winner of No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Clemson.
Brady will continue to dial up new wrinkles in the passing game to help Burrow have another explosive outing.
