Luke Ford, the No. 2 tight end in the class of 2018, will come off the board in a few hours.

Luke Ford is the No. 49 overall player in the country, and the top recruit from Illinois, per 247Sports.

The four-star recruit did not sign yesterday, with the opening of the early signing period, but he will not be uncommitted much longer.

He took to Twitter to announce that he will be signing this afternoon.

Georgia was the big winner in the recruiting world yesterday, and could continue the momentum with Ford's impending decision.

The Dawgs made Ford's top five a few days ago, along with Alabama, Auburn, Illinois, and Texas A&M.

Over at 247's crystal ball, Georgia is the overwhelming favorite, with 88-percent of the prognosticators predicting that he will join Kirby Smart's program. Alabama and Oklahoma have also received votes, but both Sooners picks were in February, and Alabama was in June. Every single prediction since has him ending up with UGA.
